Hi, I didn't understand the tutorials, how can I make lucera multilingual, I want to build one in english, spanish, br/portuguese, turkish and russian.

How should I do, should I create 5 folders of the server files with each language separately?

How should I configure the client to show that?

should i touch something in the extender.jar?

2 languages are available, the second can be any of your listed ones. English is required.
data/html-{lang_prefix}
data/string/strings_{lang-prefix}.properties

I would like to use this topic to point that we have a huge brazillian community of players and it's really hard to find translated server and client files to PT-BR.
Lucera have 2 languages, which is great, but adding BR language files would be really worth the effort, not only for the community but also for the project.

I'll do it on Saturday. In addition to the fact that the language system needs to be reworked so that any number can be added, all HTML/strings files also need to be transferred through gpt for translation without losing context into PT-BR

Ну мб тогда хотя бы добавить возможность самим админам добавлять языки в игру по типу как ты писал выше

Сделай допустим возможность добавления основных языковых пакетов, а каждый пускай добавляет под себя по мере необходимости

Considering it's the coordinated same effort to update those files into ChatGPT, here's one piece of advice:
Do it for PT-BR (brazilian portuguese) and also for ES-AR (spanish argentina) files.
This way you'll cover basically 100% South America Languagues (not to say America enterily, since spanish is native language of many countries, just like portuguese).
It'll also include languages of countries from Africa, Europe and Asia.

You can create a python file for auto-translate the files without affect the "html" estructure
no, it doesn't work like that. I create a server on my side that sends files to the GPT, then I send the GPT and wait for a response and the "OK" response code, and so on in a circle, we have about 3 thousand files. This will take about 2 days. Also for what I need to write code on python if iam a java dev...

At morning will start to rework Multilanguage system, then start to work with PT-BR
Now we have "hardcoded" 2 lang
I can help correct the pt-br files later on.
Brazilian portuguese is my native language.
Maybe open a forum section so the community can post prints of what should be corrected, since we know ChatGPT is pretty good at translating but still will not get 100% accuracy.

Thank you very much, but I'm not sure that you can check 3 thousand files by yourself. Of course I will wait for feedback, but I think that everything will be fine the first time.

oh yeah, i can't check it all.
but, later on, just by passive playing, it's possible to filter some bad words and translations.
good luck on the progress!

what if some licensed users help with it?
i mean, separate X folders to 3 or 5 people and later on just unite those files?
considering @fa1thDEV can help with spanish, i can try to help with portuguese also.
